From One-to-Many: Making Group Conversations Accessible
In real learning and work settings, conversations rarely involve one speaker. Group discussions, meetings and seminars often include multiple talkers across a room—where a single microphone falls short.
This session explores how a Roger MultiTalker Network, using additional microphones such as Roger TableMic, improves speech understanding, participation and listening confidence in demanding environments. We’ll demonstrate when and why extra microphones are needed, how they work together seamlessly, and how they support DSA and Access to Work outcomes. We’ll also show integration with captioning and virtual meetings.
Attendees gain insight into multi-talker challenges, practical use cases, and confidence specifying multiple TableMics.
Beyond Free TTS: Why Read&Write is Built for Real Neurodiverse Support
Free text-to-speech tools are everywhere. But when it comes to truly supporting neurodiverse learners, “free” often means limited, inconsistent, and not designed with real needs in mind.
Let's explore how Read&Write by Everway goes far beyond basic TTS. Built specifically for neurodiversity, it offers a joined-up support toolkit that helps students read, write, understand, and express ideas with confidence.
We’ll highlight the key differences between general AI tools and purpose-built assistive technology, giving you clear, practical reasons why Read&Write remains the trusted choice within DSA. We'll also discuss the AI we use ourselves, responsible and not generic reskinned.
